How to Add an Alternate Appearance to Face ID on iPhone or iPad
Step #1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone. Step #2. Tap on Face ID & Passcode. Step #3. Enter your iPhone Passcode and tap on Set Up an Alternative Appearance. Step #4. Tap Get Started. Step #5. Now, ask the second person to follow the on-screen instructions. That is, position the face in the frame and then slowly move the head in a circle to show all angles of the face. Once done, tap Continue. Step #6. Finally, tap Done to finish.
How to Delete Alternative Face ID
Please keep in mind that, this will remove not only the alternate appearance but yours too. After that, you will have to set up Face ID again for yourself. Step #1. Open the Settings on your device. Step #2. Tap on Face ID & Passcode. Step #3. Tap on Reset Face ID. That’s all!
